Ethereal Echoes
Inspired by my personal journey with social isolation and media addiction, Ethereal Echoes delves into the themes of social and emotional detachment in which I dreamed of a better place, a living fantasy where you can be everything and anything you want.
The performance consists of an octagonal box built with reflective surfaces, physically symbolising the intangible barriers between the real world and our digital embodiment. Focusing on the complexities of human connection. By blurring the lines between reality and the ethereal self. Within this enclosed space, I am enveloped in solitude, unable to see beyond its boundaries, infinitely being confronted with reflections of myself.
